What to look for
Capture the exact Business Profile or Maps URL, displayed business name, phone, website, address or service-area representation, date observed, and screenshots showing the issue in context.
What to document
Document relationships as relationships—not conclusions. Shared phone numbers, domains, addresses, wording or routing may justify further investigation, but a shared signal alone does not prove common ownership or wrongdoing.
How to use it
Separate verified facts from suspicion. Google currently lists lead-generation agents or companies among examples of businesses that are not eligible for a Business Profile, but the evidence still needs to establish what the reported operation actually is.
Verify before concluding
Build the complaint around independently checkable facts and the policy that may apply. VerifySweep can organize the evidence and prepare the complaint package; Google makes the enforcement decision.
Independent sources
Credential and platform-policy claims should be checked against the issuing organization or platform. VerifySweep encourages direct verification rather than relying on a logo, advertisement or third-party claim.
