Corrections are part of evidence quality
If a material fact is shown to be wrong, the case should be corrected rather than defended. New evidence may strengthen, weaken or completely change an earlier interpretation.
Separate disagreement from factual correction
A factual correction should identify the specific statement, explain what is inaccurate and provide support when available. A disagreement with an interpretation can also be recorded without rewriting verified source facts.
Preserve the audit trail
Production cases should preserve what changed, when it changed, why it changed and the evidence supporting the correction. Material corrections should not silently disappear from the history.
Disputed findings
When reliable sources conflict, VerifySweep should label the point as disputed or unresolved instead of forcing certainty. Human review controls what is promoted from a lead to a supportable finding.
