What VerifySweep stores
Investigation drafts, saved cases, review progress and recent website-audit history are stored in your browser using local storage. This browser-local information is not an account and does not automatically synchronize with another browser or device. Clearing browser data may remove it. When you run a server-side tool, the information needed to perform that request is sent to the applicable VerifySweep endpoint for processing.
Investigation information
Do not submit passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, private medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information. Investigation submissions should focus on public business information and evidence relevant to the reported issue.
Directory information
Professional directory submissions are intended to contain business contact information, named credential holders, credential types and authoritative verification sources. A submission is not automatically a verified listing.
Current limitations
VerifySweep does not currently provide user accounts or cloud synchronization for browser-local case records. Local evidence-file attachments remain in the browser that added them and are not included in server-side analysis unless a feature clearly states otherwise. VerifySweep does not automatically submit complaints to Google or another third party.
