Not all evidence carries the same weight.
A strong investigation does not become strong because it contains a lot of screenshots. Evidence is useful when another reviewer can understand where it came from, when it was observed and what it actually proves.
Level 1 — Lead
A tip, unusual pattern, competitor observation or search result can justify checking further. It should not be presented as a verified conclusion.
Level 2 — Documented observation
A dated screenshot, listing URL, phone number, website, advertisement or credential claim documents what was publicly represented at a point in time.
Level 3 — Corroboration
Multiple independent sources support the same factual relationship: for example, a phone number appearing on multiple listings and on the same website, or an address confirmed through another public record.
Level 4 — Policy-relevant evidence
The verified fact can be compared directly with a current platform rule. Google, not VerifySweep, decides enforcement.
Preserve context
Record the URL, date, business/listing name, what you observed and why the source matters. Avoid cropping away information needed to understand the evidence.
